David Maloney RIP

In these troubled times of still waiting for a new series of Doctor Who to begin, we seem to be marked with bad omens. David Maloney, director of many classic Who adventures has sadly passed away. David was a very talented man who brought us such classics as "The Talons of Weng Chiang" and "Genesis of the Daleks", as well as one of my favs - "The Mind Robber". Also, he work on another great (and one hopefully GAYvis will keep his hands off if he knows what's good for him!) TV classic - Blake's Seven.
We have only just mourned for the loss of veteran Dalek voice Peter Hawkins. One cannot help but think this so-called "New Who" is cursing the good name of classic and best Who.
CulTimes sends their best wishes to both families. We have lost two great gents.

I haven't seen The mind Robber but "Talons" and "Genesis of the Daleks" are 2 of the best Classic Who stories. I would rate Genesis to be my all time fave Tom Baker story.
